Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) continued her plan to try and win Vanessa Woodfield (Michelle Hardwick) back in Emmerdale tonight – but things didn’t go her way, as she also lost Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb).
Mack has been in Charity’s bad books since he meddled with Pollard (Chris Chittell) and Chas’ (Lucy Pargeter) latest business venture, which impacted the Woolpack’s reopening.
After Charity told Mack to stay away from her, this led to her and Vanessa very nearly kissing.
Tonight, Vanessa was somewhat surprised at Charity’s determination to win her back as she had just forgotten about Mack’s feelings.
Meanwhile, lovesick Mack took Vanessa’s advice and decided to plan a grand gesture to show Charity how much she means to him.
Arriving at the pub, Mack passed Charity her house keys and explained he had just got a key cut himself as he’s moving in!
Sadly, for Mack, he didn’t reunite with Charity as she was certain it’s far too early in their relationship to consider moving in together.
Heartbroken, Mack threatened to move back to Scotland.
Charity was convinced Mack wasn’t being serious but later, she found him outside the pub in his car.
Mack said a final goodbye to his girlfriend and zoomed out of the village.
But will he return?
And what does this mean for Charity? Will she get back with Vanessa now?
