Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) made a huge decision in EastEnders tonight (November 2), as she decided to allow the Slater clan to stay put in No. 31.
However, make no mistake, this reversal was not out of the goodness of her heart.
No, she made the decision simply because Jean Slater (Gillian Wright) and Mo Harris (Laila Morse) had seen to it that nobody would shop in the Minute Mart as a result of her actions.
Yes, in a sense, the decision to evict the Slaters was proving to be bad for business.
Therefore, when Kheerat (Jaz Deol) suggested that her actions could result in her businesses going down the drain, she ultimately informed him that the Slaters could stay.
As of yet, the Slaters are none-the-wiser, as they do everything they can to acquire as much cash as possible.
Kush Kazemi (Davood Ghadami) was incredibly apologetic after he gambled their home in a game of poker with the Panesar matriarch last week.
The young man ultimately admitted that he was a gambling addict, but will he be able to save his relationship with Kat (Jessie Wallace)?
That remains to be seen.
EastEnders continues Tuesday November 3 at 7:35pm on BBC One.
