Strictly Come Dancing stars Faye Tozer and Giovanni Pernice enjoy flirty cigarette break outside hotel

The pair held hands and laughed as they spent time alone outside to smoke together last night.

Faye – who is married to businessman Michael Smith – was paired up with Giovanni at the launch show on September 8.

Ever since they have been busy in rehearsals preparing for tonight's opening show.

The pair will perform live to millions tonight, as they try to impress judges Shirley Ballas, Bruno Tonioli, Craig Revel, and Darcey Bussel, as well as viewers at home.

Faye's CV says she is experienced in several dance styles including ballet, ballroom, burlesque, salsa and tap, which should give her an edge against her Strictly competitors.

This week show host Tess Daly revealed it's "inevitable" that romance blossoms between celebrities and their dance partners.

Couples who’ve fallen in love during the show include Ben Cohen and Kristina Rihanoff, who went on to start a family together.

While Flavia Cacace fell for her celebrity partner Matt Di Angelo, before dumping him and moving on with Jimi Mistry who she met while dancing on the programme.

Countdown star Rachel Riley split from her millionaire husband of 15 months Jamie Gilbert – just after her stint on Strictly in 2013.

At the time, Rachel insisted her professional dance partner Pasha Kovalev was not the reason behind the split. However, the pair later confirmed their relationship in 2014.

Professional dancer Graziano Di Prima – who is joining Strictly for the first time this year – told The Sun Online he introduced his girlfriend to partner Vick Hope to reassure her they won't be hit by the dreaded curse.

The Italian is so confident his relationship won't be affected, that he's even thinking about popping question.

He will make his debut tonight as the professionals and celebrities perform together for the very first time.

Newly divorced couple Kevin and Karen Clifton will perform together for the first time since their split.

  • Strictly Come Dancing is on tonight from 6.15pm on BBC One.
