Strictly viewers spot Giovanni kiss Ranvir as pair fuel dating rumours

Strictly Come Dancing fans were convinced they saw Giovanni Pernice kiss his celebrity partner, Ranvir Singh, during their routine on Saturday evening.

Ranvir, 43, performed a stunning Viennese Waltz to She Used To Be Mine from musical Waitress and their routine left the judges teary-eyed.

However, fans were more concerned with the pair's closeness as opposed to their fancy footwork.

Taking to Twitter following their performance, many viewers watching at home were keen to comment on Giovanni's kiss.

"He kissed her head and i have feelings about it," one person posted.

A second wrote: "If Giovanni and Ranvir aren’t dating, they must be f*****g great actors."

A third added: "I will not be surprised if Ranvir and Giovanni announce they are together next year."

Good Morning Britain presenter Ranvir was left tearful as the routine came to an end and admitted she had "danced with her heart".

The judging panel had nothing but positive comments for Ranvir, with Motsi Mabuse and head judge Shirley Ballas gave her a standing ovation.

"I feel like you've now finally come into you," Motsi gushed.

Talking to host Claudia Winkleman afterwards, Ranvir said that she felt very emotional after the comments.

"A friend who came to the first live show said, 'Dance with your heart and your feet will follow', and tonight I really tried to do that," she explained.

"Absolutely," Italian pro Giovanni added.

The pair appeared on It Takes Two earlier this week and promised that this weekend's routine would be "braver" following criticism from Craig Revel Horwood about their lifts last Saturday.

Ranvir and Giovanni have been surrounded by romance rumours since being paired up on the show.

However, 30-year-old Giovanni has reportedly claimed they are nothing more than friends.

A friend of the Strictly star insisted there is no "spark" between the pair – just a friendship – according to The Sun.

A source reportedly told the publication: "The romance viewers think they see between them is just for TV.

"They have forged a close friendship but there isn't a spark like that between them. Both of them are getting tired of the rumours."

Strictly Come Dancing returns to BBC One tonight at 7:30pm
