Teen First Dates fans swoon as ‘young Harry Styles lookalike’ searches for love

Teen First Dates viewers were left distracted during the latest episode of the reality series after a Harry Styles lookalike left fans swooning

As four new couples visit the First Dates restaurant looking to find love, one singleton caused a stir with viewers with his uncanny resemblance to the One Director star.

Fans saw 18-year-old musician James from Wakefield take a gamble with love after joining his date Harriet for a cozy dinner.

The 19-year-old student gushed over her desire for a musician who looked like the heartthrob pop star prior to joining James on the date, leaving fans sure the two would hit it off.

After revealing he was a drummer with a resemblance to her crush, Harriet appeared smitten over her date, and so did viewers.

“Well isn’t he adorable! He’s a musician just like Harry!” said one viewer.

Another added: “OMG he really does look like Harry Styles what a cutie!”

While a third agreed: “She said she fancied Harry Styles and he’s a drummer. I think she’s smitten!”

Though the pair got off to a strong start, it all ended in disaster when James was rejected by Harriet after the date, telling him she needed someone with more confidence.

Leaving the door open, she offered him 24hrs to ‘slide into her DM’S’ but an update at the end of the show showed that while the pair did message for a few weeks following the date, the spark ultimately fizzled out.

The popular reality show was brought back the teenage version of the programme for a second season and offered up a series of different characters this week.

Landscaper Josh, 17, from Preston enjoyed a date with fashion student Aliyah leaving the public in stitches as the ditzy blonde reeled off her list of conspiracy theories.

The pair discussed her flat earth theory and agreed that aliens do in fact exist.

Aliyah also told Josh that the north of England is “closer to the sun” and that she is desperate visit a place she had heard of where she can swim with pigs.

Elsewhere, fans saw politically ambitious couple Bella and school councillor Connor make a connection through their love of politics with both striving to achieve the role of Prime Minister.

Despite having a lot in common and deciding to see each other again, love did not prevail for the pair in the end and they decided to just be friends.

Teen First Dates airs Wednesdays on E4 at 9pm
