Teen Mom Jenelle Evans ripped by fans for 'only buying junk food' after showing off cart full of cookies and candy

JENELLE Evans stocked up on groceries and supplies ahead of a forecasted major winter storm, however, fans called out her food choices.

The Teen Mom 2 alum recently shared a post of her overflowing grocery cart, with the caption: "Just now preparing for the #WinterStorm."

Her cart looked packed with fatty foods, including a package of cookies front and center, frozen Eggo's, French Toast sticks, and a cube of butter.

On Reddit, fans criticized her shopping list.

One parent shared: "I buy my kids junk food too but they also have 3 snack bins to choose from including fruit, applesauce, string cheese and yogurt. I would never get to the French toast sticks level."

Another added: "My god. And then she wonders why she has health problems and why her kids are hyper."

While a third agreed: "For someone with so many health issues, you’d think she would try to eat better."

Jenelle, 30, lives in North Carolina, which is currently dealing with what is being called a "once-in-a-decade" ice storm for the southern states, which prompted one fan to wonder about the types of food she was buying.

"I dont get why people stock up on stuff that relies on power to eat for storm preparation. If the power goes out almost everything besides the cookies, butter, eggs and potatoes would go bad. It could be a waste," the Reddit user shared.

"The eggs and butter would also have a time limit before (they) would go bad."

And still, others took offense to Jenelle's treatment of her eggs, in relation to the rest of her groceries.

One fan wrote: Who the h**l just throws the eggs in the cart like that?!?! THAT'S HOW YOU BREAK EGGS!!!!"

To which another responded: "The cookies are safe in the front of the basket but f**k the eggs."

LET IT GO

Jenelle has been the target of internet trolls lately, and recently took offense to one who said she has "let herself go."

The ex reality star has been outspoken about her journey towards “body confidence” and often flaunts her curves in sports bras and bikinis on social media.

After watching one of Jenelle’s recent TikToks, one troll commented: “She let herself go lmao.”

Seeing the rude note, the MTV alum made a reaction video to it, where she chugged down some beer as she showed off her curves in a lacy ensemble.

The clip began with Jenelle leaning in close to the camera and mouthing the words to the backing track, which asked: “Are you new here?”

She then proceeded to sit back a little, showing off her full, curve-hugging outfit of tight blue jeans, black lace lingerie, a bright red blazer, and a black hat.

Going all out in proving that the rude comment doesn’t affect her, she leaned back an chugged a bottle of beer.

In the caption, Jenelle clapped back at the troll and wrote: “My dude… Does it look like I care?"

DEFENDING HER LIFE

Fans jumped into the comments to defend the star, as well.

“No… she’s a REAL woman. Not trying to be looking like everyone else,” one user wrote.

Another told Jenelle: “It’s called living and being happy. Do you boo, you look fabulous.”

This is far from the first time Jenelle has clapped back at trolls, as she's received rude body-shaming comments often pop up on her dance videos, which she's been posting the last couple of years.

KEEP ON DANCING

In 2020, tired of haters trying to make her feel bad about her figure, she fought back with a body-positive dance video.

She showed off her curves in a crop top and grooved to Wait a Minute! by Willow Smith.

She captioned the post: “Dance like nobody is watching!!! Since #quarantine I’ve been dancing a lot more and forgot how much I loved it!”

Jenelle added along with a middle finger emoji: “Judge me if you will, body shame me if you will but I love myself so…"
