This Morning: Craig Doyle and Rochelle Humes discuss Holly’s exit
This Morning fans have been left reeling that Holly Willoughby’s tribute on the ITV show was quicker than Phillip Schofield’s.
On Tuesday evening, the presenter announced she was stepping down from her presenting role after 14 years.
Viewers watched on Wednesday’s instalment of the show, as the 42-year-old’s image appeared in the opening credits detailing how she’d be missed.
Hosts Craig Doyle and Rochelle Humes touched on Holly’s departure as they mentioned how she’d forever be part of the This Morning family.
Rochelle commented: “Holly loved her job here and was looking really forward to the future of the show.

“But, recent events, especially in the past week, have been hard to deal with as she’s quite rightly putting her family first.
Craig added: “On behalf of everyone here in front and behind the camera, we just loved working with Holly.
“She made coming to work so much fun, we’re all really, really sad and we’re going to miss her.”
Rochelle commented how proud the show was of what the presenter has achieved, she added: “She will forever be one of us.”
