In less than two months, we’ll be celebrating crying over the first anniversary of Teen Wolf‘s series finale. We’re not sure where the time has gone, or how we’ve survived without seeing our faves protect Beacon Hills for so long, but here we freakin’ are. In the grand scheme of things, a television show being off the air for a year is no time at all. But Tyler Posey, who starred as Scott McCall on the MTV series, is already down for a reunion.

The 28-year-old actor appeared on an episode of PeopleTV’s Chatter earlier this week and admitted that he wants someone to turn the Teen Wolf TV series into a movie.

“For Teen Wolf, that’s what I’ve said since the beginning of that show,” he says. “I’ve always wanted to do that. So, I’m all for it.”

In case you weren’t aware, TW was actually loosely based on the the 1985 film of the same name starring Michael J. Fox, so to have it go back to its roots (with a different cast, plot, etc., of course) would be quite interesting.

Ty doesn’t get to see his MTV castmates as much as he once did, but he says he’s still tight with all of them, especially on-screen BFF Dylan O’Brien, who played Stiles Stilinski.

He explains, “Dylan O’Brien is still one of my best friends. We actually went to Comic-Con last weekend with each other. It was our first time we went without any obligations because Teen Wolf is over, so we didn’t have anything to promote. And, we went and partied and danced all night until five in the morning.”

If Tyler’s down for a Teen Wolf movie, we’re pretty sure Dylan would be down, too. And we have a feeling they’d definitely be able to convince the rest of the cast to jump on board. Ok, MTV; it’s your move!
