SUPERHERO drama series Peacemaker is officially returning for another season.
Executive producer James Gunn and Peacemaker John Cena announced on February 16, 2022, that the show is coming back.
What is the Peacemaker about?
The hit streaming series involves Christopher Smith, or Peacemaker, collaborating with Project Butterfly to fight parasitic, butterfly-like creatures.
Along with Agent Emilia Harcourt, John Economos, Leota Adebayo, and Clemson Murn, the squad necessitates completing missions to rid the creatures and save the world.
A spin-off of the Suicide Squad cast Peacemaker, the eight-episode season one received much acclaim from fans, allowing the show to renew for another season.
With a 95% on Rotten Tomatoes, the show has skyrocketed ever since its premiere in January 2022.

Will there be a season 2 of Peacemaker?
Project Butterfly will come back again for another season to fight for the world.
The exact date release for Season 2 is yet to be announced, but it will be available to stream on HBO Max.
"Creating Peacemaker has been one of the true highlights of my life, both professionally and otherwise, with John Cena and the incredible creative team around me, as well as our partners at HBO Max," shared Gunn with Forbes.
"To have something we all love so much be loved by the audience in turn has been a wonderful experience. I can’t wait for folks to see where team Peacemaker goes in season two!"

Agee is a comedian, actor, and musician best known for his roles as Steve Myron on The Sarah Silverman Program.
Robert Patrick as Auggie Smith
Patrick's acting career started after dropping out of college, taking a role in Die Hard 2. From there Patrick starred in Terminator 2: Judgment Day, Striptease, Cop Land, and Spy Kids.
Annie Chang as Detective Sophie Song
Chang is best known for her roles in Peacemaker, Super Pumped, and Shades of Blue.
Lochlyn Munro as Larry Fitzgibbon
Munro is a Canadian actor most notable for his work in films A Night at the Roxbury, Scary Movie, White Chicks, and Freddy vs. Jason.
