A Place in the Sun's Lee Juggurnauth reveals startling fact about himself as he voices filming concerns

A PLACE In The Sun often scouts out dream locations for guests to find a perfect home, but presenter Lee Juggurnauth went above and beyond on a recent shoot despite being worried.

The star has been sharing snaps on social media of the places he gets to visit when filming the show, and he posted a scenic video standing on a high bridge.

Lee – who joined the Channel 4 show earlier this year – showed off the beautiful view behind him and the river below, before confessing: “So, I don't know if these lot know I can't swim."

He told his 25,000 followers: "They're making me do a piece to camera on a bridge, over a river… and I'm not the strongest swimmer”.

Before fans complained to the production company though, he admitted: “I can swim, I'm just not the strongest," Lee clarified.

He later shared another video confirming that he had “made it out in one piece”.

Lee and the team had just finished filming in Spain, and he shared the news with another eye-wateringly beautiful swimming pool shot.

He wrote: "And just like that another @aplaceinthesunofficial show wrapped. Spain it's been real.”

Presenting the popular show has been a dream come true for Lee, after he was rejected the first time he auditioned.

He said: "It was kind of like a pinch me moment because I had previously auditioned for the show two years prior to that.

"I got quite far, I got into the final two, but they chose someone else instead because they wanted a girl at the time."

Lee said wisely: "There’s that saying that goes, 'What’s meant to be won't pass you,' so that that's a true testament to that."

He spent time working on his skills and has now been presenting the show for nearly a year.

A Place In The Sun airs weekdays at 3pm on Channel 4.
