Amid an ongoing reorganization of publishing house Bauer, we’re told that its Christian magazine, Simple Grace, has been read its last rites.
It’s set to fold after the August issue hits stands. Saintly sources say editor Carol Brooks, who also helms Bauer’s women’s titles, First for Women and Woman’s World, will continue to edit the other mags.
Simple Grace — which features stories such as “How I Know God Is Real” and celebrity prayer tips — launched in 2015 to cater to “busy women” who say “that their relationship with God is central for them.” The news comes weeks after Bauer said it was selling celeb titles Life & Style, In Touch and Closer to AMI.
