Community fuming after bright pink ‘P*rn Hub casting cars’ appear in posh town

Residents of an upmarket community were shocked to see cars seemingly advertising pornography website Porn Hub parked outside their homes and businesses.

The vehicles were painted bright pink and popped up around the town centre of Ilkley in Yorkshire.

People felt that they were inappropriate, especially considering the "Porn Hub Casting Car" message emblazoned on the rear windows of the cars, reports Yorkshire Live.

Some were especially concerned given the amount of children walking around the busy town centre, and one of the cars was spotted near to a school.

One woman who lives in the area said: "I think it's disgusting. I wrote a Post It note which I was going to place on the windscreen.

"It said 'please park somewhere else – it's highly inappropriate as there are children walking along the road."

Another woman said: "I saw one parked on Golden Butts Road and then outside Wetherspoons.

"I thought it was some sort of stag do going on. I also saw one on Little Lane. I think there were three in all."

She added: "They were revolting – especially the colour. They stood out."

One has even been seen near to a local primary school.

Mr Soutar, head teacher of Ashlands Primary School in Ilkley, told the Telegraph and Argus: "If this fact is accurate it is completely inappropriate for branding or advertising such as this to be anywhere near a primary school."

The cars, which have apparently been poorly spray-painted, have been spotted around Ilkley for a number of days but appear to have moved somewhere else, according to locals.

Some people took to Twitter to share their experiences of the dodgy cars.

"I literally walked past a Porn Hub car the other day," said one.

Someone else replied to them: "NOT THIS BEING A SHARED EXPERIENCE HELP."

"The fact that this even exists is bad enough," fumed another.
