Dancing on Ice viewers spot Liberty Poole’s ‘swipe’ at Love Island ex

Dancing on Ice star Liberty Poole made her skating debut on Sunday but viewers spot her "swipe" to her Love Island ex Jake Cornish.

The 22-year-old found fame on ITV2's Love Island last year after she quit the show days before the final after breaking up with boyfriend Jake.

The influencer is now taking to the ice on the ITV show but it wasn't long into her performance fans took to Twitter to comment on her song choice.

Liberty is paired up with professional skater Joe Johnson on Dancing on Ice and performed to Little Mix's pop anthem Shout Out to My Ex.

Fans were quick to point out that her song choice was a reference to her ex-boyfriend Jake.

One wrote: “This a song dedicated to Jake #DOI #DancingOnIce,” alongside a string of laughing crying emojis.

Another said: “The song Liberty danced to was clearly aimed at Jake #DancingOnIce”

A third wrote: “Liberty really skating to 'shout out to my ex',” with three laughing crying emojis.

A fourth tweeted: “Liberty Poole dancing to Shout Out to My Ex has me creasing #dancingonice”

Liberty's fellow Love Island stars Faye Winter and Kaz Kamwi were seen cheering her on in the audience.

The former waitress stunned as she preformed in front of judges Ashley Banjo, Oti Mabuse and skating legends Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean.

Later in the show, Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby revealed Ben Foden would join Ria Hebden from week one in the dreaded skate-off.

Both pairs skated once again and it was down to the judges to save and send one couple home.

After some serious deliberation, the experts decided to keep Ria in the competition, meaning Ben and his partner Robin Johnstone were the first couple to be axed from the new series.

All remaining couples will take to the ice together for the first time next weekend.

Dancing on Ice continues Sunday on ITV and ITV Hub at 6.30pm
