A TEEN girl was sexually assaulted in an early morning horror attack at a beauty spot.

The victim, 18, was assaulted in Blackmoorfoot Reservoir in West Yorkshire at around 2.11am.

Police have now launched an investigation but haven't confirmed if anyone has been arrested.

They say the woman is being supported by specially trained officers.

A cordon is now in place at the reservoir, which is popular with dog walkers.

A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "At 2.11am today (Tuesday), police received a report of a serious sexual assault which was alleged to have occurred close to Black Lane in Blackmoorfoot.

"Enquiries into this report are at a very early stage and ongoing and an 18-year-old woman is being supported by specially trained officers."
