Meghan Markle’s family in talks to make their own reality TV show

Meghan Markle ’s American family are in talks to make their own reality TV show.

The Duchess of Sussex’s estranged half-sister Samantha is said to be locked in negotiations with American cable channel Bravo over a fly-on-the-wall series.

The station has said to have offered Samantha, 53, a “bumper pay deal” – and executives are desperate to get Meghan’s outspoken dad Thomas, 74, on board too.

A source said: “They want something that is similar to Keeping Up With The Kardashians .”

Neither Thomas nor Samantha attended the former Suits star’s wedding to Prince Harry at Windsor Castle and have repeatedly hit out at the Royal Family since the ceremony in May.

Samantha and Meghan have not spoken since 2015.

Last month, 53-year-old Samantha claimed Meghan hadn’t spoken to her dad since her big day – and spoke of fears he’d "die of sadness" if they didn’t reconcile.

Samantha said: “I’m desperate for Meghan to meet up with Dad when she’s back. If she doesn’t it would be really cruel and hurtful and would break his heart.

“I speak to him every day. He’s very sensitive and I see his health suffering as a result of this. I hope they can meet in a quiet place, spend some quality time together and gain closure on what’s been an incredibly sad time for him.

“If they don’t I’m worried he’ll die of sadness. I just want her to get in touch before it’s too late. Life’s short – neither of them deserves to be left with the consequences.”

Thomas, 74, was caught staging paparazzi photos in the run up to the big day in a reported bid to make £100,000.

This week, the retired TV lighting director compared the British Royal Family to the Scientologisty cult.

Palace aids are said to be fuming about his outbursts.

He said: “They are like Scientologists. If they hear anybody say anything, they just close the doors. They put their fingers in their ears so they don’t have to hear.”
