This new cop calendar shows off the “fuzz” at its most adorable.
More than a dozen NYPD police pooches will wag their way straight to your heart in a series of photos featured in the 2020 K9 and Friends calendar.
The spread includes the bright-eyed bomb sniffer Jamie posing in Times Square with his human handler Officer Michael Cautillo, according to the nonprofit New York City Police Foundation, which puts out the calendar each year.
Others feature the motley mutts on paw-trol around the Big Apple, sniffing along parks and rivers. The month of May, for example, shows a pooch leaping over a wooden plank, and December centers on a leashed-up dog wagging happy in the grass next to an officer.
“The New York City Police Foundation is honored to support some of New York’s finest and furriest. They’re on the front lines every day sniffing out explosives, protecting our transit system, and fighting terrorism,” said Susan Birnbaum, the president of the foundation.
The calendars cost $20 and all proceeds benefit new and ongoing NYPD programs and initiatives, according to the foundation.
The group launched its first K9 calendar in December 2016, with a photo of a panting pup with its head sticking out the window of a police car.
