The clever layout also allows for a compact kitchen at the rear and stairs leading to a bedroom, bathroom and attic room.

Orginal stonework is exposed inside the cottage – cheekily called Ty Ni as the Welsh for ‘Our House’ – which pays homage to its cosy feel.

Tudor Estate Agents & Chartered Surveyors described it as a ‘compact quaint cottage for sale’

Holidaymakers can snap up the home in Nefyn on the stunning Llyn Peninsula in Gwynedd, North Wales, for £72,000.

Nearby activites include a championship golf course at Morfa Nefyn that is only two miles away.

Tudor Estate Agents & Chartered Surveyors described it as a ‘compact quaint cottage for sale.’

A spokesman said: ‘Ty Ni is situated in a convenient position in the centre of this small seaside town which is located on the north coast of the Llyn Peninsula and is within walking distance of the amenities and beach.’

The three-storey home also boasts a small front yard.

The property actually misses out on the title of the UK’s narrowest home by quite a large margin.

Owner Stuart Beckett, 52, fell in love with the property in 1993 and quickly snapped it up for £33,000.

He has since put it up for sale after he saw its value rocket
