A PRISON has installed a photo booth so inmates can take group selfies with visiting family members.
Serco, the private firm that runs HMP Lowdham Grange, said the booth is intended to give children visiting fathers in jail a more “positive experience”.
Inspectors who visited the men’s Category B prison, right, near Nottingham praised the booth as “a good innovation”.
Ministers have said it is important to allow prisoners to keep up relationships with loved ones while they remain behind bars.
A report from HM Inspectorate of Prisons also praised Lowdham Grange for introducing a violence hotline in an effort to improve safety.
Inmates can use the service to report concerns about violent or anti-social behaviour.
