The singer was among the star-studded crowd who today flocked to St George's Chapel in Windsor – but failed to grasp the formality of the event.
The former Take That member was filmed chewing as he sat in the pews, speaking to a fellow guest.
But he was quickly called out on social media after the ceremony, that starred his daughter Theodora "Teddy" as a bridesmaid.
One person tweeted: "Shame Robbie Williams has no social skills, sitting there chewing gum."
Another added: "Oh Robbie… Ditch the gum love."
It was a similar scene to when David Beckham was caught furiously chewing gum at Prince Harry and Meghan's wedding – criticised for acting like it was a "football dugout".
It was a big day for Williams, who attended the wedding with his wife Ayda Field and her mum Gwen.
But he was again ribbed on Twitter when he let his mother-in-law jog after her own hat when the strong winds swept it off her head as they arrived in Windsor this morning.
Instead of being a gentleman, the 44-year-old watched as the film director turned and ran after the hat.
Robbie and Ayda's six-year-old daughter Teddy was a bridesmaid, alongside Princess Charlotte and Zara and Mike Tindall’s daughter Mia.
X Factor judge Robbie is a close friend of Eugenie and was one of many A-listers at her wedding today to Jack Brooksbank.
His six-year-old daughter impressed those who had flocked to Windsor for the big day – capturing hearts as she gave a cheeky wave as she arrived at the chapel.
But Williams wasn't the only big name to attend the Royal Wedding – the second to take place in Windsor this year after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle tied the knot at the same venue in May this year.
Naomi Campbell, Liv Tyler and Demi Moore were among the famous faces to head to the chapel – just some of the 850 guests invited.
James Blunt, Kate Moss and Jamie Redknapp were also in the crowd.
And despite warnings Windsor could be rained out this morning, the wedding day was pulled off without a hitch.
Groom Jack Brooksbank appeared to get tearful as he saw his bride walk down the aisle – telling her she looked "perfect" before the ceremony began.
The 32-year-old appeared to be get emotional as he met the princess at the altar, with lipreaders saying he told the 28-year-old: "Oh… my heart… Oh break my heart".
The bride stunned in a sweeping wedding dress, made by Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos of the British label Peter Pilotto, showing her childhood surgery scars.
Crowds cheered as the newlyweds shared a sweet kiss outside the chapel after the ceremony, surrounded by the bridal party including Princess Charlotte and Prince George.
The wedding was a mix of traditional and modern, with the couple's personal touches including Princess Beatrice giving a reading from F Scott Fitzgerald's The Great Gatsby.
Meghan Markle, stunning in a blue Givenchy outfit, sat by husband Prince Harry – but her navy coat was quickly labelled as "suspicious" by eagle-eyed viewers who speculated she could be pregnant.
