Scottish comic Leo Kearse issues appeal to find his missing 15-year-old nephew after he vanished on Friday from his mother’s house in Glasgow

Scottish comic Leo Kearse has today issued an appeal to find his missing nephew.

The comedian, who is also a commentator on GB News, is desperate to find Winston Hastings Kearse who left his mum’s house in Shawlands, Glasgow, without his bank card or money.

Winston left a note saying he wasn’t going to school and wanted time to clear his head.

The only item he is believed to have taken are two teddies, Daily Record reported.

He is described as about 5ft 5, with a slim build, dark hair and usually dresses in a black tracksuit/joggers with black trainers, usually Nike.

Worried uncle Leo Kearse tweeted on Twitter/X: ‘He is a bright, smart, streetwise young man, intelligent, charming and mischievous.

‘If anyone has any information/idea on his whereabouts/has seen him, please contact police Scotland on 101 immediately.’

His dad Toby described Winston, who attends Shawlands Academy, as a bright, smart and streetwise young man.

He said: ‘He is a really sharp and intelligent wee guy – the type of person who makes friends immediately.

‘He missed his football yesterday which is the most important thing in his life.

‘He also knows he is loved by everyone and is not the sort of person who would want to worry people – he is empathetic.

Winston is also the nephew of comedian and GB News pundit, Leo Kearse. The only item he is believed to have taken are two teddies

‘Winston is unconditionally loved so much by so many people, and we just want to see him safe.

‘Whatever the reason for him going awol, everyone around him will do anything they can to help him and see him safe again.

‘Please share this as far and wide, any help is very much appreciated for this much-loved wee guy.’

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: ‘I can confirm that Winston has been reported missing to us and that enquiries are ongoing to trace him.

‘Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact police via 101 quoting incident 0695 of 10 November.’

Leo Kearse is a comedian and brodcaster from Scotland.

He has won awards such as the Scottish Comedian of the Year and UK Pun Champion for his routines.

Standing out from his peers, he is a self-professed right-wing comedian who is known for his regular appearances on GB News.

He is anti-woke, against cancel culture and hits out at the BBC’s left-wing bias.
