A 17-year-old has been charged with murder in the death of a wealthy UK restaurant owner, according to a new report.

Susan Addis, 69, was discovered with stab wounds at her home in Brighton Thursday, The Sun reported.

It’s unclear how the attack unfolded. Friends said she lived alone, but knew the suspect.

“By the sounds of things there has been some sort of altercation in the house and Sue has suffered some injuries,” an unidentified friend told The Sun.

The suspect, who has not been publicly identified, was charged Friday with murder, according to The Sun.

Addis ran two popular restaurants, Donatello and Pinocchio, that are popular with celebrities and athletes.

Addis family pleaded for privacy, adding they were “in a state of shock” over her killing.
