An unhinged man spat at and punched a Bronx MTA bus driver who refused to let him board, disturbing new video released by police shows.
The suspect was waiting for the BX6 express bus at Westchester Avenue and East 163rd Street at 2:15 p.m. March 24, but the driver did not stop — prompting him to step into the street in the path of the bus, video released late Tuesday shows.
Then he approached the driver’s side window, punched the driver and spit in his face, the clip shows.
Then a second man forced open the front doors of the bus, and both of them got on, verbally harassed the driver and took off, cops said.
The driver suffered pain in his left arm, shoulder and neck.
Cops were still looking for both men Wednesday morning.
