Beverley and Adam parted ways last summer after 22 years of marriage, however their divorce settlement is yet to be finalised.

Prior to their split, Beverley negotiated Adam’s salary and panto deals while serving as his agent.

It comes amid reports that he raked in an impressive £1.2million in lockdown while Beverley currently owes his company £195,447.

Adam ran his own management firm called XL Management Ltd, which was recently said to have shut down, and paid £245,774 in Corporation Tax last year, based on a fifth of its taxable income.

In financial records on Companies House, first seen by The Sun, Adam’s company also paid £182,486 in Corporation Tax in 2019.

This means Adam’s XL Management has seen a turnover of around £2.1m over the last two years.

Adam and Beverley are both listed as directors of the company but the soap star is the majority shareholder and has overall control.

Annual accounts show Beverley has been lent almost £200,000 over the last two years and has so far paid back £6,000.

Adam is said to be paying Bev ‘interim maintenance payments’ to support her while their divorce is being finalised. They share children Jessica, 28, and Samuel, 24.

A friend of Bev reportedly added to The Sun: ‘She has really struggled financially’ and claimed Bev, will now ‘get Adam back’ by consistently having the voting number for him to do Bushtucker trials on ‘speed dial’.

They went on: ‘I think it’s inevitable he’ll end up getting picked for lots of trials and I wouldn’t blame Bev if she had his number on speed dial after all the pain and upset he’s put her through.

They added that it is ‘quite likely’ that she’ll be voting for him this series and won’t be ‘alone in that’.

It was reported that Adam agreed to take part in I’m A Celebrity after bosses offered him a bumper pay deal.

Business: Adam’a reportedly raked in an impressive £1.2million in lockdown, while Beverley currently owes his company £195,447

An insider told The Sun: ‘Adam was a big target for the casting team – he is a soap legend and is certain to be a huge hit with fans.

But they knew they might have their work cut out because he has been quite reticent to do interviews or reality TV shows in recent years.’

ITV bosses are believed to be thrilled that Adam, who is currently on an ‘extended break’ from EastEnders, will appear on the reality series.
