The Hello singer shared her first Instagram post in almost two months to mark her big day, posing for a fresh-faced photo as she spoke about her ‘healing year.’
Dressed in a custom Carolina Herrera dress and dancing around a garden, Adele told her 49.8m followers that she has ‘never been happier’.

Adele beamed for the camera as she reflected on a life-changing year, which in January saw the star postpone her Las Vegas residency at the last minute, to the anger of fans.
‘What a difference a year makes! If time keeps healing and smoothing out all the creases in my life like it does as the years fly by, then I can’t wait to be 60!’ she wrote in her caption.

‘I tried my hardest and really thought I would be able to pull something together in time,’ Adele explained. ‘I regret that I kept going until that late in the day. It would have been a really half-a***d show and I can’t do that.’
‘People will see straight through me up on the stage and know I didn’t want to be doing it. I’ve never done anything like that in my life and I’m not going to start now.’
