He’s a Hollywood legend with a host of iconic roles in his lengthy resume.

And Al Pacino looked dapper while on set of a new project in Los Angeles on Tuesday afternoon.

The 81-year-old actor appeared to be in character as he sported a retro-inspired three-piece suit while roaming around the production.

Pacino wore a white button-down underneath a vest, with a red-and-white silk polka dot pocket square to match his scarf.

He was later spotted dressed down in an all-black ensemble, complete with a soft blazer and matching leather trainers.

Sid Owen recently praised Pacino for his care and support when they starred together in the 1985 film Revolution.

In his emotional memoir, From Rags to Ricky, the EastEnders star, 49, detailed how he developed a close bond with the Scarface actor while filming his debut film role aged 13 — and how Al ‘considered adopting him’ because he had no parents.

Sid’s father David was an alcoholic who left the family home when the star was just six years old, while his mother Joan died from cervical cancer in 1979 when she was 35 and Sid eight. Sid was raised by his aunt Carol and her husband Michael.

In an extract published in The Sun, he writes: ‘When I started on Revolution, there was a lot for us to work through together to make our father-and-son relationship convincing, so we got into a routine where every day I’d go to his trailer and we’d run lines, whatever we were doing that day.

‘He knew I had no parents and was from a difficult background, though we didn’t really talk about it.

‘He didn’t have kids of his own then and I found out later he had considered adopting me. One time he said: “Come out to New York when this is finished.”

And Al will take on another paternal role as he portrays Aldo Gucci in Ridley Scott’s glitzy new crime drama, House of Gucci.  

The film details the downfall of the Gucci family fashion dynasty and is based on the true story of Patrizia Reggiani — played by pop icon Lady Gaga — who orchestrated the assassination of her husband, former Gucci fashion brand head Maurizio Gucci, played by Adam Driver.

Jared Leto, Jeremy Irons and Salma Hayek are also set to star in the fashionable flick, which hits theaters in November.
