EXCLUSIVE: Amanda Bynes and fiance Paul Michael both wear rings in LA… after lawyer clarifies her conservatorship is ‘open day to day’ after ‘incorrect’ reports stated it had been ‘extended through 2023’

Amanda Bynes and her fiance Paul Michael both wore rings as they stepped out Saturday in Los Angeles.

The Easy A actress, 35, wore a new dazzler in place of the massive sparkler Paul proposed to her with last year.

Paul wore a simple gold band on his ring finger while strolling beside his lady love in a La Familia sweatshirt, Raiders cap, and tan sweats.

The couple looked as relaxed as can be enjoying a quiet weekend stroll together.

Amanda wore a loose grey T-shirt, button down pink skirt, black sneakers and a white gold chain purse slung over her shoulder.

The former Nickelodeon star also wore a blue surgical mask, however she did pull it beneath her ruby red lips while puffing on a cigarette.

She also seemed to get a bit of shopping done as she carried a bag on her arm.

On the line: The couple were glued to their phones while enjoying the fresh air

The former All That actress also appeared to debut two new tattoos – a Playboy bunny on her leg and rose on her arm.

Amanda and Paul have both been seen wearing rings since announcing their engagement last year.

Last year Amanda’s attorney clarified the duo had not gotten married after Paul posted a photo of their rings to Instagram.

‘Amanda is not married,’ David Esquibias told Us Weekly.

Amanda previously shared the same photo of the rings and her and Paul’s hands in February, so it’s not clear what Paul was trying to convey with his post, which he didn’t bother to caption.

‘Engaged to tha love of my life,’ she captioned the ring photo in February. Shortly afterward, she posted a selfie of the two which she captioned, ‘Lover.’

Although Paul’s ring appeared to be a gold wedding band, he may have been wearing it as an engagement band of his own.

Red hot: Even though she was wearing a mask, she glammed up her complexion with hot red lipstick

Meanwhile: Amanda’s conservatorship was recently thrust back into the spotlight after her lawyer had been forced to shut down a report stating her seven-year legal conservatorship had been ‘extended to March 2023’

Meanwhile, Amanda’s conservatorship was recently thrust back into the spotlight after her lawyer had been forced to shut down reports stating her seven-year legal conservatorship had been ‘extended to March 2023.’

In a statement to People, Esquibia explained that the star’s conservatorship is ‘open day to day’ and that a status report, not an extension, had been scheduled for 2023.

‘A status report regarding her health and welfare was recently filed and approved by the court. By law, the next status report is due in two years. Her conservatorship will terminate when it is no longer convenient for Amanda,’ the attorney’s statement read.

Accessorized: She wore a beaded bracelet and nose ring

Rocky road: Bynes’ conservatorship began in 2014 when she was involuntarily committed to a Pasadena psychiatric treatment facility following a very public meltdown involving a string of bizarre run-ins with the law dating back to 2012

As per legal documents obtained by People, Amanda will ‘undergo another status report in January 2023.’

Just one day prior, legal documents obtained by The Blast appeared to suggest that Amanda’s finances and affairs would remain under the control of her parents Lynn and Rick ‘through 2023.’

Bynes’ conservatorship began in 2014 when she was involuntarily committed to a Pasadena psychiatric treatment facility following a very public meltdown involving a string of bizarre run-ins with the law dating back to 2012.
