The Eternals actress got behind the camera to direct upcoming flick Without Blood, starring Salma Hayek.

Speaking about her latest project, the 47-year-old confirmed that her eldest sons, Maddox, 21, and Pax, 18, were both put to work on set.

Raving about her experience with the youngsters, she said: ‘We work well together. When a film crew is at its best, it feels like a big family, so it felt natural.’

The film marks the mom-of-six’s fifth time in the director’s chair, and the first project she has undertaken for Fremantle.

Little else is known about the movie, which also stars Demián Bichir, and is based on the 2002 novel of the same name by Alessandro Baricco.

Angelina’s sons – who she shares with ex-husband Brad Pitt – made themselves useful in the assistant director department, according to People Magazine, with Pax also focusing on behind-the-scenes footage.

‘[He] worked hard,’ Angelina confirmed to the publication.
