Ariel Winter Jokingly Blasts Sarah Hyland Over ‘Modern Family’ Reunion Snub

The Haley Dunphy depicter on ‘Modern Family’ shares a slew of pictures of her, Sofia Vergara, Jesse Tyler Ferguson as well as Jesse’s husband Justin Mikita having a fun picnic alongside Jesse and Justin’s baby boy.

AceShowbiz -“Modern Family” cast members are no doubt so close to each other even though the show ended a year ago. So, when Ariel Winter noticed that former co-star Sarah Hyland had a mini reunion with fellow “Modern Family” cast members Sofia Vergara and Jesse Tyler Ferguson, she playfully called Sarah out for leaving her out.

Earlier this week, Sarah shared a slew of pictures of her, Sofia, Jesse as well as Jesse’s husband Justin Mikita having a fun picnic alongside Jesse and Justin’s baby boy. Captioning the photos, the Haley Dunphy depicter on “Modern Family” wrote, “Picnic days with the fam.”

Ariel apparently caught wind of the post and she didn’t wait long to poke fun at her absence. “did mine & @nolangould’s invite get sent to the dunphy house because you know we don’t live there anymore guys!!!!!!” so the actress, who portrayed Haley’s sister Alex, wrote in the comment section, referring to actor Nolan Gould who played their brother Luke.

Fans were amused by the comment as one reacted, “Hahaha you are the best Ariel!” Someone, meanwhile, proposed an idea for Ariel to have her own picnic outing with Nolan. “I think you and Nolan would make epic picnic together. Can we see it?” the person asked. Some fans, however, seemed to fail to recognize the humor in Ariel’s comment. That prompted her to clarify, “It was just a joke!!!!” before adding two laughing emojis.

Back in October, the cast of the popular sitcom had a mini reunion to celebrate Jesse’s 45th birthday with Sarah, Sofia and Julie Bowen among the attendees. “Celebrating my 45th with some of my favorite people,” Jesse wrote in the caption for the snap. Julie also gushed over the “amazing” moment, noting she was happy “to see these people again.”
