‘It’s NOT attention seeking’: Ashley James proudly shares breastfeeding snaps with son Alfie as she tells fans to ‘stop judging women with big boobs’
Ashley James has proudly shared breastfeeding snaps after receiving lots of ‘creepy and judgemental’ comments about having her cleavage out.
The DJ and model, 33, welcomed her son Alfie six weeks ago and said she’s ‘pretty much been topless’ since giving birth but has loved feeding him as it’s the ‘first time I’ve felt like my big boobs have a pure purpose’.
Posting candid pictures with her baby, she explained that she’s ‘bored of being made to feel ashamed’ for her bust and told fans to ‘stop judging women with big boobs’.
Ashley, who regularly shared snaps of her curvaceous figure before and during her pregnancy, also posted a selection of busty throwback snaps as she declared its ‘not attention seeking’ when she shows her ample assets on social media.

Ashley looked radiant as she posed up a storm for a selfie while feeding Alfie and rocking a pink and black dress.
She also posted a snap of her adorable baby boy resting on her cleavage after having his feed, writing, ‘our bodies don’t exist for male attention’, over the snap.
The blonde beauty also shared three other snaps where her cleavage is prominent – in a bikini and two dresses – saying she wasn’t flaunting her bust for attention.
Making her point in the lengthy caption, Ashley penned: ‘Put your hands up if you see a woman with big boobs and make judgements and assumptions about her?

‘I’ve pretty much been topless since giving birth to my son 6 weeks ago. Breastfeeding is constant and I honestly love it because it’s the first time I’ve felt like my big boobs have a pure purpose. I feel so mother earthy.’
However she admitted that she’s received lots of negative messages since sharing her breastfeeding journey on social media.
She continued: ‘During this time, my inbox has been flooded with creepy comments from men (weird to sexualise someone breastfeeding), and judgemental comments from women about how often they’re out, or about me attention seeking.
‘It genuinely makes me so sad that there are still women who think I / other big boobed women get our boobs out for male attention. I understand it though, we’re so conditioned to be that way.

‘These comments aren’t new to me. They started when I was 13 years old and first grew big boobs… Being constantly told to stop seeking attention, or to put them away even in a vest top. And I know other big boobed women have experienced the same.’
Ashley added: ‘We spend our lives trying to avoid unwanted male attention, usually starting from when we are teenagers. Feeling uncomfortable when we notice people looking at our cleavage instead of our faces.
‘Trying to find the line between wearing what we feel good in and what we feel safe in. Finding a balance between sexy and frumpy. We know the pain of getting ready and feeling good and then our friends asking who we’ve got “the girls out for”.’
The new mum then addressed how she’s often feeding baby Alfie and is ‘bored of women being made to feel ashamed’ to breastfeed when they have big breasts.

Ashley wrote: ‘My boobs are out ALL THE TIME at the moment because that’s the reality of my situation. But also because I’m bored of women being made to feel ashamed of breastfeeding. I
‘t’s the most natural thing in the world. It’s why we have boobs, and I’m not going to hide away in any public bathroom to do it.
‘And yes, I show off lingerie. As someone with big boobs, I WISH I had that when I was younger. I wish I saw someone proud of their body and their big boobs and not being made to feel ashamed for their God given body – as I was for years.’
She ended the post, telling fans: ‘Please stop judging women with big boobs. Our boob size is not our morals. We WISH people wouldn’t stare at them, but they’re literally attached to our chest and we don’t want to dress like nuns. #breastfeeding’

It comes after Ashley revealed that her son had a ‘traumatic’ delivery after his heart rate dropped.
The DJ, who welcomed her first child with boyfriend Tom Andrews in January, also posted new snaps from Alfie’s birth as she reflected on the time.
Ashley shared that due to her son being such a ‘big baby’, his heart rate dropped during delivery and she had to ‘push him out’ quickly, resulting in a ‘traumatic’ birth.
Posting a collection of candid snaps from Alfie’s birth, Ashley commented on how ‘swollen and bruised’ his head was at the time.

The TV personality also asked her 284K followers for advice on finding a baby osteopath for her son as he is having ‘discomfort with wind and pooping’.
In one photo taken after giving birth, Ashley sweetly cradled Alfie on her chest as she held his tiny hand.
She penned over the snap: ‘Alf had quite a traumatic entry into the world with his shoulders needing to twist and being such a big baby.
‘His heart rate dropped and I had to push him out very quickly. You can see how swollen and bruised his little face was. So it would make sense if he’s got a few niggles from his birth.’

In another picture, taken just seven hours after his birth, Ashley penned: ‘This was taken about seven hours after Alf was born.
‘He slept all night in the Snoo, which was very reassuring for safety on his first night home with us. His little head was so swollen and bruised bless him.’
Ashley added that she was looking into getting a baby osteopath for her son due to his ‘traumatic’ delivery, she also shared an excerpt with reasons for doing so.
The TV personality has previously discussed her birthing process and in January she appeared on Jeremy Vine.
Ashley told host Jeremy: ‘I mean it was long, definitely not comfortable, as expected, but it was kind of like amazing and luckily Tommy was in hospital with me.

‘We gave birth at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and the NHS midwives were just amazing. They did everything they could to work with the Covid rules but to ensure Tommy was with me at all points basically.
‘I couldn’t ask for a better experience, especially in the circumstances.’
Jeremy went on to ask Ashley about how motherhood has changed her, after she previously thought she didn’t want any children.
‘It’s amazing to think this time last year I probably would have said I wouldn’t want children,’ the television personality said.
‘I kept on saying “maybe when I’m older” but I’m 33 now and I never quite felt that I was old enough.
‘Now that he’s here, he has just transformed my world and I suppose with lockdown as well. Life is so different to what it was a year ago anyway that it’s just like a having a new friend for lockdown.’
