Ben Affleck was seen back in Los Angeles on Friday as he puffed away on a cigarette.
The 48-year-old Argo star and director from Massachusetts was dressed casually in a gray T-shirt and beige slacks, adding aviator sunglasses as he had an iced coffee in his hands.
This comes after the best friend of Matt Damon was seen on a romantic getaway with his on-again girlfriend Jennifer Lopez on their $130m mega-yacht while off the coast of Italy and France.

He has been ‘very happy’ with JLo.
They were in St. Tropez for for her 52nd birthday and was seen beaming from ear-to-ear as she and the Hollywood hunk partied with a group of friends at a nightclub on the French Riviera.
An onlooker told PEOPLE: ‘They are having a beautiful trip. They celebrated Jen’s birthday at a club last night. She looked gorgeous and very happy.’
The couple – who had been set to wed back in 2003 but postponed their wedding due to ‘excessive media attention’ before calling off their engagement the following year – have grown close again in recent months following Jennifer’s split from Alex Rodriguez.

And, although the 52-year-old actress is ‘fully committed’ to Ben, the brunette beauty isn’t planning on jumping into marriage any time soon.
A source said recently: ‘[They] are fully committed to each other… They have been meshing their lives and families and don’t feel the need to get engaged yet or even tie the knot.
‘They have both been there and don’t feel it’s necessary. They are both very secure within their relationship and Ben worships her.

‘It’s truly meant to be and everyone around them thinks they are a perfect match.’
But it doesn’t look like it will be long before the loved-up pair take their relationship to the next level by moving in together.
An insider explained: ’Their friends wouldn’t be surprised if they move in together and ultimately end up together. They’re spending all of their free time together and making each other a priority.’
Ben has children Violet, 15, Seraphina, 12, and Samuel, nine, with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner, while J.Lo has 13-year-old twins Emme and Max with her ex-husband Marc Anthony, and their reunion doesn’t seem to be ‘a big deal to either set of kids.’

According to Page Six, the On The Floor hitmaker, who has been a regular at the high-profile fashion event since 1999, is on Anna Wintour’s star-studded guest list for the September 13 event.
Jennifer has recently rekindled her romance with Affleck and the extravaganza is the perfect place for the couple to make their red carpet debut.
The last time Jenny went to the Met Gala, she brought Alex Rodriguez. The two ended their engagement in April.
Before that, she had as her plus one Sean Combs, Marc Anthony and Casper Smart.

Guests at this year’s Met Gala must be vaccinated against coronavirus.
Those set to attend fashion’s biggest night have been warned they will be refused admission without proof they are fully inoculated against the virus, and must also wear a mask while indoors.
A spokesperson told The Daily Beast this week: ‘Currently, all attendees at The Met Gala on September 13 must provide proof of full vaccination.
‘And they will also be expected to wear masks indoors except when eating or drinking. We will update these guidelines as needed.’
The 2020 Met Gala was cancelled last year because of the pandemic, and this year it’s been pushed back from its traditional slot on the first Sunday in May.

This year’s event has the theme ‘In America: A Lexicon of Fashion’ and will be hosted by Billie Eilish, Naomi Osaka, Amanda Gorman, and Timothee Chalamet, with Tom Ford and Anna Wintour serving as honorary chairs.
At just 19, Billie will make history as the youngest ever co-chair of the prestigious event.
Announcing the hosts in May, Vogue magazine said: ‘Each of the Met’s four co-hosts embodies the defining factor of American style: individualism.
‘[They have each] developed a distinct visual language for their public personas, one that is informed by the legacy of iconic fashion made in the USA.’
