‘Dubai, you were fantastic’: Bikini-clad Coleen Rooney gives an insight into her family holiday on social media amid Wagatha Christie trial

Bikini-clad Coleen Rooney shared a series of pictures on social media on Sunday amid her Wagatha Christie trial.

The mother-of-four, 36, wore a series of summery looks, including a strapless yellow scalloped bikini and a green two-piece as she posed for various pictures.

She also shared some snaps of her husband, footballer Wayne, 36, and their children.

Coleen, 36, and her family arrived last Thursday at the spectacular Jumeriah Al Qasr hotel which boasts a Presidential Suite with three bedrooms costing around £7,000 a night

One snap saw their boys all wearing matching swimwear and another saw her youngest son Cass, four, fast asleep on Coleen as they sat in a restaurant.

The family went on to pose for a picture with a dolphin and Kit, six, getting a kiss on the cheek from one.

However, a representative from World Animal Protection slammed the family for encouraging the practice – where mammals are kept in ‘tiny barren, concrete tanks 200k times smaller than their natural space’.

Peter Kemple Hardy, head of campaigns said: ‘Sadly every year millions of animal lovers like the Rooney family are misled into thinking that captive dolphin experiences are cruelty-free, educational and good for conservation efforts.

‘Unfortunately, the industry is profiting billions of dollars from keeping dolphins in tiny barren, concrete tanks 200k times smaller than their natural space.

‘Dolphins are wild animals and in their natural environment, swim 100 square kilometres of ocean freely, sometimes much more.

‘We are calling on holiday makers to see dolphins in the wild with a responsible tour operator rather than in captivity and for tour operators like TUI to follow the lead of Expedia, TripAdvisor, Virgin Holidays, British Airways Holidays and Booking.com who have all stopped profiting from dolphin entertainment.’

In another snap, Coleen wore a white Bargot dress as she headed out on a date night with Wayne.

Coleen captioned the images with the words: ‘We had the best Family holiday 2022. Dubai you were fantastic #grateful ❤️.’

Coleen has been soaking up the sunshine as she escapes the pressures of her £3million Wagatha Christie High Court libel battle with Rebekah Vardy.

Her family arrived last Thursday at the spectacular Jumeriah Al Qasr hotel which boasts a Presidential Suite with three bedrooms costing around £7,000 a night.

The Rooneys flew out from Manchester after skipping the last day of the so-called Wagatha Christie libel trial which gripped Britain.

Time for a snooze: The holiday was a chance for the Rooneys to get away from it all after they attended the High Court together for several days

Coleen and Wayne had spent seven days in London’s High Court as she rebutted claims that she had libelled Rebekah, the wife of Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy.

The mother-of-four had accused Rebekah, 40, of leaking stories to The Sun about her family after entrapping her in a notorious ‘sting operation’ on Instagram.

The couple were also spotted dining al fresco, supping drinks and daubing sun cream on sons Kai, 12, Klay, nine, Kit, and Cass, to protect them from the harsh rays.

Coleen’s parents Tony and Colette McLoughlin were also seen playing with their grandsons in the pool.

Another guest at the hotel said: ‘It was fantastic to see them enjoying a well deserved break after being under the spotlight at the High Court.

Date night: The Rooneys are thought to have paid around £1,300 a night for one of the hotel’s private villas close to the beach. The villas include the services of a butler

What a night! After sharing her holiday snaps, Coleen also posted a snap with singer Ed Sheera (third from right). She wrote: ‘Ed ❤️…….amazing as always x’

‘Coleen appeared completely at ease and seemed happy to have some quality time away from it all with her family. She and Wayne are just down to earth people.

‘They did not put on any airs and graces, and spent a relaxed few days enjoying the sunshine and the beautiful surroundings of the hotel.’

The hotel which opened in 2004 features horse statues along with waterfalls and other decorative features including marble pillars adorning its grounds.

Looking forward: Coleen (pictured with her fours sons on holiday in Dubai) is said to be extremely confident she will win her libel case with Rebekah Vardy

Coleen uploaded several holiday pictures, including this image of husband Wayne with three of their sons along with her father Tony McLoughlin

Coleen famously revealed in October 2019 how she planted fake stories on her personal Instagram account and had changed her settings so that the posts could only be seen by Rebekah’s account.

Each of the bogus stories then found their way into The Sun newspaper, prompting Coleen to suggest that Rebekah’s account was the source of the leaks.

Coleen had claimed that her actions were a ‘last resort’ after she came to the conclusion someone was leaking information about her to The Sun.

She defended herself against the libel claims in court by insisting that her allegations against Rebekah were the truth.

Rebekah claimed in turn that Coleen’s post, which was published while she was pregnant, cost her a book deal and an endorsement for placenta capsules, while also acting as a lightning rod for people to abuse her on social media.
