‘I feel like a brand new woman’: Britney Spears shows off new haircut as she poses in a bikini after announcing engagement to Sam Asghari
Britney Spears showed off a new hairdo in an Instagram post on Monday, after she announced her engagement to boyfriend Sam Asghari over the weekend.
The engagement reveal came days after Spears’ father Jamie Spears submit legal paperwork to end the conservatorship she’s lived under since 2008.
The 39-year-old singer, in a clip scored to the Prince classic Kiss, danced around a jacuzzi with canyons in background of her Southern California estate, donning a hot pink bikini with brown heels and brown tinted sunglasses, showing off red streaks at the bottom of her blonde mane.

The Grammy-winning pop star, in the caption of Monday’s post, made reference to a previous post last week in which she showed off her derrière in a bathroom mirror.
‘After my first real a** pic, I was kinda inspired to go red and then I cut all my hair off and now I feel like a brand new woman,’ the Toxic singer wrote, going over details of her everyday routine amid the waning days of summer.
‘I made a smoothie, went into my yard, turned on some Prince and laid out … and then I put my hair up in a ponytail which made me look like Pebbles from The Flintstones and did some laundry,’ she said. ‘But honestly laundry is my favorite thing to do especially in the evening when the sun is setting.’
She added: ‘I think most women secretly love doing laundry!!! I’ll be honest and say that since I’ve been on a break from the industry I realized it was the simple things I’ve missed the most!!!’

Spears said she tries ‘to stay far away from’ the negative scrutiny celebs receive and has done ‘a pretty damn good job at that lately.

She later added a bikini shot of her backside, writing in the caption, ‘People love to talk s*** so … KISS MY A**!!!!!!’
Asghari was seen running errands on Monday, at one point holding a Trader Joe’s bag over his head with the phrase ‘She said yes!’ written on the front.

On Sunday, Spears showed off a diamond ring that read ‘Lioness,’ as she captioned the shot, ‘I can’t f****** believe it!’
Asghari, who’s been seen on the BET+ show Family Business, initially met Spears in 2016 when they worked together on her video for the track Slumber Party, and they began dating soon thereafter.
Spears has been married twice before, to longtime friend Jason Alexander in 2004, and to Kevin Federline from 2004 thru 2007. She is mother to two sons with Federline, Sean, who turns 16 on Tuesday, and Jayden, who turned 15 on Sunday.
