And Britney Spears was safely back at home on Monday afternoon as she touched down in Los Angeles with fiance Sam Asghari by her side.
The 40-year-old pop princess sported a pair of Daisy Dukes and a sheer sweater for the private, two-hour flight from Cabo San Lucas to the Van Nuys airport in the heart of the San Fernando Valley.

Britney carried a pet pooch in her arm as she disembarked from a private plane wearing tattered denim shorts and a white top.
She pounded the pavement in hot pink Birkenstocks with rhinestone straps and slung a brown leather purse across her arm.
The Toxic singer held a cup of coffee in one hand and blocked the afternoon sun with a pair of over-sized shades as her platinum blonde tresses cascaded down her shoulders.
Sam, a 27-year-old personal trainer turned actor, showed his biceps in a black muscle tank and wore a comfortable pair of track pants.

A source close to the couple recently told PEOPLE magazine that the vacation south of the border was just what Britney needed following the dissolution of her conservatorship.
‘Britney was very excited. She loves beach vacations and hasn’t been to Mexico in many years,’ the insider revealed.
Their trip comes just weeks after Britney’s 13-year controversial conservatorship ended and she regained control of her life.

‘She is doing well. She is taking care of herself both physically and mentally,’ the source claimed. ‘Sam is her biggest supporter. She just loves being with him.’
The end of her restrictive conservatorship also came just as their relationship was blooming with their recent engagement.
‘She feels very lucky to be spending her 40th birthday with him. Such perfect timing to be out of the conservatorship. She feels beyond blessed in so many ways,’ the source added.
Britney couldn’t help but share in the joy of being able to travel with her main man as she posted a few snaps to Instagram before heading out of town late last week.
‘Oh the precious joy today,’ she wrote. ‘Me and my fiancé are so excited to be going away. God thank you for being able to go out of the country !!!! I am blessed !!!!’
The couple has dated for more than four years and announced their engagement in September after he proposed with a massive ring engraved with ‘lioness.’
