Carol Kirkwood, 58, is the much-loved weather presenter on BBC Breakfast. However, she shared how she was left “so cold” this morning after presenting on location as she apologised to viewers of the show for any errors.

Carol was presenting the weather this morning from Odds Farm in Buckinghamshire.

While she was left excited about the location, she did admit it came with some difficulties.

She addressed these in front of her 203,000 followers on Twitter, apologising to them for any errors.

Carol penned: “My hands are so cold… apologies for typos…xxx.”

This morning was a chilly one for the star as she presented among the farm animals.

However, Carol’s fans were quick to reassure her after her message.

One wrote: “You need a nice little fire to warm them up Carol.”

“Get yourself inside soonest,” added a second in response.

A third penned: “Good morning to you Carol. Glad you are wearing gloves now!”

Sharing a picture of a cup of tea, another wrote: “Morning Carol, got you this …”

Carol also shared several adorable photos from her morning on the farm on social media.

This included a picture of a lamb chilling out in the sun, which sent her followers into meltdown.

She shared the snap of the young animal relaxing in the morning on the straw.

Carol captioned this: “Could this little lamb be more chilled out?! @OddsFarmPark @BBCBreakfast xxx.”

The weather presenter shared some pictures of adorable goats and rabbits as well.

She wrote: “Cuteness overload this morning at Odds Farm Park! @BBCBreakfast xxx.”

The meteorologist then posted a snap of the sunrise this morning.

Carol penned: “Good morning from Odds Farm Park in Woburn Green. Gorgeous sunrise @BBCBreakfast xxx.”

This comes after the weather presenter shared an image last week of her being replaced by a cardboard cut-out on the show.

Sharing the image on her Twitter account, she gave viewers an insight into how they get the camera angles correct on the show.

Alongside this, she wrote: “Paul what do you mean ’It’s the only way I can get you to stand still!’. Cheeky.”

BBC Breakfast airs on BBC One daily from 6am.
