Carol Vorderman took to Instagram on Monday to gush about her lookalike daughter Katie King after the pair spent a weekend of quality time together.

The television personality, 60, could be seen posing alongside her offspring in a slew new and throwback snaps of the pair shared to the social media site.

Former Countdown star Carol proudly posted a number of pictures of herself with Katie, 29, at various locations, writing: ‘Top weekend with my girl. Smart as hell. Happy. Killing it. Boom. Unstoppable.’

In another image, she could be seen standing alongside Katie, beaming with pride, as the pair stood in a hallway with art on the walls.

Referencing her education, Carol captioned the picture: ‘Proud…. Pure hard work.

The maths whizz went on to share some throwback summer snaps from the Royal International Air Tattoo when they went to see military aircraft take to the skies in Gloucestershire in July.

Carol then went on to share a clip of herself flying her plane when she previously took off with her daughter in the passenger seat.

Carol’s posts come after she showcased her jaw-dropping physique as she posed up a storm for a slew of snaps at her friend Yvie’s house on Saturday.
