Catherine Tylesley has said she wants to "slap" her "selfish" neighbour after claiming he only mows his lawn late at night.
The former Coronation Street star took to Twitter to declare war on the man living next door to her family home.
Posting to her 418,000 followers, Catherine tweeted: "My next door neighbour only mows his lawn after 9pm…
"I want to march around and slap him with a yuka … so selfish".
The 37 year old’s tweet proved to be quite the conversation starter after replies appeared with people sharing their own nightmare neighbour stories.
One woman replied: “Mine come alive when it’s dark don’t see them during daytime. Mine had floodlights lit last Saturday doing garden at 2.45am then had the cheek to wake me again at 8am banging van doors. I’m holding my breath as they are new neighbours and have work to do.”
While another said: “I don’t understand people… I don’t care how hot it is I wouldn’t dream of doing it before 10am or after 6pm. Next door buy one time is often gets his out (petrol mower that is ) and start around 9.45 when I’m going to bed x.”
And a third agreed with Catherine, writing: “Same here. Windows are wide open, settling down to watch TV, kids asleep in bed and off they go. I also hate the pouring of glass bottles into recycling bin very late or mega early outside my bedroom window when it’s not even due for collection. Why?!”
However, some fans sided with Catherine’s neighbour suggesting it might be too hot to cut the grass during the day.
One person replied: “Perhaps, like myself, he struggles in the heat of the day and finds it easier in the evening. Be Kind."
To which Catherine replied: “Nope. He does it even when it’s not hot. He also fills his bins loudly at 11pm. I’m very kind. Which should encourage consideration really!” followed by three crying face emojis and a red love heart.
While another fan suggested that the actress had ‘enough money’ to purchase a home in the middle of nowhere.
This comes after the actress, who is best known for playing Eva Price in the ITV soap, revealed she lost her sparkling wedding ring while at a spa.
Catherine, who married personal trainer Tom Pitfield in May 2016, was answering fan questions during an Instagram Q&A when she admitted she lost her wedding ring during a spa getaway.
The mum-of-one who shares son Alfie, six, with Tom, told her 636,000 Instagram followers that she accidentally left the diamond wedding band in the pocket of a robe.
However, despite her luxury day out ending in disaster, Tom made she sure didn't go without and replaced it with a second ring.
