Coronation Street’s Colson Smith shows off his toned physique in black shorts and a hoodie following incredible 10st weight loss

He wowed his fans by undergoing a dramatic weight loss transformation after adopting a healthier lifestyle last year. 

And Colson Smith continued to showcase his toned physique as he stepped out with a friend in Manchester city centre on Friday.

The Coronation Street star, 22, cut a casual figure in a pair of black shorts, a Gym Shark T-shirt and a zip-up black hooded jacket.

Colson finished his look with a pair of white trainers as he headed out for the day, joined by a male pal.

The soap star, who has stunned fans with his weight loss, cut a more casual figure in a break from filming on the Corrie cobbles. 

It comes after Colson revealed he is planning to take a break from the Corrie cobbles to help out his sister on her farm.

He hopes to lend his veterinarian sibling a hand as lambing season commences, as he branded himself a ‘top farmer.’ 

‘April is lambing season and I’ve got the call up – I’m in for lambing season,’ Colson said on the Sofa Cinema Club podcast to co-hosts Ben Price and Jack P. Shepherd.

‘I’m off work for the whole of April, so I’m going to be there lambing. It’s going to be great.’

Colson, who is known for his portrayal of the lovable Craig Tinker, said he helped on the farm last month as he continued: ‘It’s been full-on. I finished work and I got a call saying, “you need to come and help out, we need some help on the farm”.

‘I’m a top farmer. I can drive the tractor, I’m good at that kind of stuff.  

Back in November, before England’s second national lockdown, Colson showed off the fruits of his labour as he visited the gym for the last time. 

He underwent a dramatic transformation after adopting a healthier lifestyle earlier this year.  

For the fitness session, Colson donned a black jacket over a matching hoodie, while he also wore dark blue jogging bottoms.

Urging his fans to keep safe amid the coronavirus crisis, Colson wore a black face mask and wrote on the picture that others should do the same.  

The soap star first showed off his impressive weight loss in March, but has been continuing to slim down while in lockdown as he kept up with his fitness routine at home. 

Colson recently spoke about how his staggering weight loss will likely cause continuity issues on Coronation Street during filming.   

The star joked he will have to wear a fat suit after claiming to have lost 10 stone during lockdown.

Colson told The Sun: ‘We are in direct continuity, but I’ve almost lost about ten stone since we left work so I’m not sure that [my hair] is going to be the biggest of their issues.

‘I might be wearing a wig and a fat suit when we go back. Now we go to a purple shampoo, which almost makes it a platinum sort of colour, which basically takes the ginger pigment out.

‘So the yellow-ness will go, and I will have a head of blonde hair, which I technically do now.’
