Daisy May Cooper shared a steamy kiss with a mystery man after a glam night out at the British Academy Television Awards on Sunday.

The This Country star, who looked incredible in a floor-length pastel pink dress, was seen packing on the PDA with the man as they headed back to their hotel following the ceremony at London’s Royal Festival Hall.

Daisy closed her eyes as the pair shared several smooches while waiting for their car outside the afterparty.

The star’s companion was later seen helping her with the long train of her dress as the made her way into the hotel barefoot.

Daisy’s friend was previously spotted by the star’s side at a car boot sale in Cheltenham two weeks ago, helping her price up items for sale.

Daisy was nominated on Sunday night in the Female Performance in A Comedy Programme category for her show Am I Being Unreasonable?

While she lost out to Siobhán McSweeney for Derry Girls, her show did scoop a win in the Male Performance In A Comedy Programme category for Lenny Rush, 14, who plays her onscreen son.

The actress, 37, best known for writing and starring in BBC mockumentary This Country, dressed to impress for her glam night out on Sunday, wowing in a pink dress with a white fur trimming, taking inspiration from Britney Spears’ iconic look in her Lucky music video.

The Am I Being Unreasonable star showed off her incredible weight loss as she paired the sheer gown with a matching cape.

Daisy has undergone a dramatic image transformation over the past couple of years.

Last May split from her boyfriend Ryan Weymouth after getting his name tattooed on her wedding finger during their five-month romance.

The actress started dating the chef in December 2021 after she split from her husband Will Weston in July 2021 after two years of marriage.

During their whirlwind romance, Daisy got Ryan’s name tattooed on her finger and the pair sparked engagement rumours in March 2022 when she wore a ring on her wedding finger.

Leading the way: The man kept hold of Daisy’s silver clutch bag as they went on the hunt for their ride home

Just two months later though a friend told The Sun: ‘Daisy dumped Ryan because she decided she didn’t want to be tied down again, she loves the single life.

‘Ryan is really gutted it’s all over already – it was a whirlwind which he truly thought could end in marriage.’

They started a relationship after it was reported that Daisy had ended her marriage after two years, with an insider revealing at the time that Daisy ‘had grown increasingly tired of married life and was struggling in her relationship with Will.

‘They ended things for good earlier this year. She has taken off her wedding ring and has been telling her friends their marriage is over.

‘She has also removed Will as a director on her media business. It’s been a tough 17 months for everyone and Daisy and Will were no exception.’

A representative for Daisy May Cooper declined to comment when contacted by MailOnline at the time.

The Cirencester-born star rose to prominence when she created the comedy series This Country alongside her brother Charlie.

The show follows the daily exploits of best friends Kerry and Kurtan in rural England.

Daisy’s hit series This Country was part inspired by her own upbringing and she is once again drawing on her roots for her role in new BBC dark comedy Rain Dogs.

The series is written by the British-Irish author Cash Carraway and is based on her experiences as a single mum fighting her way out of poverty.

Daisy plays single mother Costello, seen just minutes into the first episode being booted out of her flat by bailiffs and desperately trying to find somewhere for her and her ten-year-old daughter, Iris, to live.

Talking about her new part, Daisy said: ‘I can see so much of Costello in me. I recognise that feeling when every day is a challenge, when you don’t have money and you’re just trying to get to the end of the day.’
