Dan Walker impressed the judges on Strictly Come Dancing last night when he performed the Charleston to a song from Singin’ In The Rain. However, the BBC Breakfast host’s fans were not thrilled when he commented on his future in the show this morning.
Earlier today, Dan shared a hilarious video from Joe Tracini on his Twitter account.
The video sees Joe showing off some dance moves, including one called a “partial hogwash”.
Dan then wrote to his professional partner Nadiya Bychkova to request they use this.
He penned in view of his 730,000 followers: “Dear @NadiyaBychkova
“If we get through to next week can we try and work in a ‘partial hogwash’ please?”
Dan completed his tweet with a laughing and heart emoji.
However, not all of his followers were too thrilled about his remark.
The Strictly Come Dancing results only aired tonight on BBC One at 7pm.
Although, the results show will have been recorded last night after the celebrities have danced.
Therefore, Dan will already know his fate on the show at this point.
Of course, the presenter hasn’t given anything away about whether he made it through or not.
But some fans were upset he was pretending to not know.
User @BristolBigAl wrote: “Like you don’t already know ‘if’ you’re through…”
While @jim_bob1959 predicted: “You know you’re through !”
@Sam65058203 penned: “If… Lol. When knowing already that through.”
However, despite these comments, many of Dan’s fans have also sent him positive messages about his performance last night.
He landed his highest score yet after impressing with his Charleston skills.
Dan took to social media earlier today to thank fans for their response.
He wrote: “Good morning!
“Blown away by all your wonderful comments about #Strictly last night.
“I would never have thought that was possible 9 weeks ago!
Both @NadiyaBychkova and I loved it & my little niece – Rosa – gave me a 9.”
