Danny Dyer looked less than impressed after being forced to wait around in an Essex car park on Sunday morning when a fellow shopper parked too close to his Bentley.

The actor, 44, was loading his weekly supermarket shopping into the luxury vehicle when he realised the car next to his was parked within one inch of his door handle.

Pictured following his departure from EastEnders, he had to wait for the other driver to return and reverse out of the space so he could gain entry to his whip.

It follows reports that Danny and his famous family have been offered £1million to star in their own Channel 4 reality show.

The TV personality announced his departure from EastEnders after nine years on the BBC soap earlier this month.

And once Danny is no longer filming scenes as Queen Vic landlord Mick Carter, it is claimed he, wife Jo Mas, 45, and their children, Dani Dyer, 25, daughter Sunnie, 14, and son Arty, eight, have been offered a lucrative salary to record a Keeping Up With the Kardashian-style series.

A television source told The Sun: ‘Once Danny is a free agent later this year, the sky’s the limit.

‘TV production companies are falling over themselves to film him and his family.

‘Channel 4 made him a lucrative offer that he’s been tempted by and he knows his family would make really lively, fun TV as they’re all so down-to-earth and people at home can relate to them.’

MailOnline contacted representatives for the Dyer family and Channel 4 for comment at the time.

Jo previously said the Dyer clan had been offered a reality show in 2018 but Danny was contracted to EastEnders at the time.

‘We have always joked about it. People do say we need a show in our house because there’s always a drama.

‘One day we might do it.’

The news comes after it emerged Danny was named as one of the front runners to take over the role of Doctor Who from Jodie Whittaker.

Show fans are betting on Jodie, 39, being replaced by Danny when she leaves the show this autumn.

Following Danny’s announcement he is quitting EastEnders, bookmakers have slashed his odds from 66/1 to 16/ 1.

On how the odds on the next Doctor Who have dramatically changed since his announcement, a spokeswoman for Ladbrokes told The Sun: ‘Danny may be not be the archetypal actor to portray the Doctor but that’s just why he might be the perfect choice to make a big change on the show.

‘He’s all the rage with punters and has already said he wants to take on different roles.’
