Despite portraying on-screen lovers, the actor revealed that he struggled to work with Aniston, who he claimed did not want him on set. 

‘Being on the set of a movie where the leading woman was unhappy with my presence and made it clear from day one. I hadn’t done many movies, and even though they screen-tested some pretty famous guys, I somehow snaked into the leading role,’ he recalled to Elle in 2010.

‘I would literally go to my mom’s house and cry,’ the performer admitted. 

Upon learning he scored the role, Mohr alleged that Aniston said: ‘No way! You’ve got to be kidding me!’ Loudly. Between takes. To other actors on set.’ 

At the time, he refused to confirm he was speaking about the Friends star.

Previously, on an episode of his Mohr Stories podcast, the star claimed Aniston said: ‘Six guys they screen-test! SIX … The one f*****g guy I hate, that’s the guy they hire. HIM!’ 

‘Aniston was so f**king mean to me,’ Mohr alleged. 

At the time, it was rumored she was upset her then-boyfriend, Tate Donovan, did not get the part. 

From 1993 to 1995, Mohr was also a featured cast member on Saturday Night Live. 

Years later, the stand-up comedian famously served as the inaugural host and executive producer of Last Comic Standing from 2003 to 2006.

Additionally, he shares a son, named Jackson Mohr, with ex-wife Nicole Chamberlain.
