Aussie hitmaker Peter Andre is proving to be ever the doting husband after he issued his pregnant wife Emily Macdonagh some sweet words of comfort amid her battle with morning sickness.
Father-of-four Peter, 50, and his doctor wife Emily, 33 shared the happy news that they're expecting their third child together on social media on Thursday last week.
And earlier today, Emily revealed on Instagram that she's been suffering morning sickness in recent weeks, admitting she hasn't had any coffee in over two months as she's been unable to stomach the hot drink.
"First time I've stomached coffee in over 2 months (decaf!)… let's see how it goes down!!" she captioned a snap of a frothy cafe latte, alongside a worried-looking emoji.
And Peter – who with Emily already shares daughter Amelia, nine, and son Theodore, six – was quick to offer his support to her with some words of comfort.
Re-sharing Emily's half-drunk coffee photo to his own Instagram story, the Mysterious Girl singer wrote: "You've got this."
The loved-up couple announced the exciting news last week with a sweet snap holding up ultrasound photos from a recent scan, writing: "We are delighted to share the news with you all. A new addition to our family in 2024 The kids are so excited, So are we."
In his latest exclusive OK! column, Peter, who is also dad to 18 year old son Junior and 16 year old daughter Princess, both of whom he shares with ex-wife Katie Price, revealed how excited he is to become a dad again.
Also being sure to thank his fans for the lovely messages he and Emily have received since announced their news, he told readers: "I have been asked this question so many times over the last few years – will Emily and I have any more children?
"Well, last week we proudly announced that we are indeed expecting another child. We are both so excited, as are all the children, and as a family we are extremely happy.
"Thank you for all the lovely messages so far. We will keep you posted!"
The pregnancy news came after Peter heavily hinted at the idea of being open to a fifth child when he was speaking to Vicky Pattison on her podcast earlier this year.
When Vicky asked about whether or not he would like another child in the future, Peter candidly replied: "Children… I was like, when I get to 50 I'm done and then I find myself having conversations with Em going, 'Yeah you know, if we did have another child, where would we put Junior?'"
He added: "I can't even believe we have those conversations and that makes me think that I just don't know, it's just one of those things. It's just weird that we even have those conversations, so I don't know."
