Don McLean, 75, has ‘no plans’ to ever break up with girlfriend Paris Dylan, 27, as he talks about their supportive relationship: ‘I’m crazy for her’
Don McLean has written and performed his fair share of love songs over the years.
And the American Pie artist appears to have found a muse in his longtime girlfriend Paris Dylan, known for her appearances on MTV’s Catfish.
He revealed that he has ‘no plans’ to ever break up with the model, as he opened up about how Dylan supports and inspires him in their relationship, during a recent interview with People.

The 75-year-old said of his girlfriend, 27: ‘Love is the most important thing you can have. You have to love somebody. Hate is such a burden. It’s a complete waste of time. I love my children and I love my girlfriend. I’m crazy for her.’
‘She is the most wonderful person that I have ever known. I think of her when I sing a lot of my songs,’ he said, adding of his song And I Loved You So from his 1970 debut album Tapestry: ‘But I especially think of her when I sing that song.’
The track has seen covers from the likes of Perry Como, Harry Connick Jr and Elvis Presley, who was known to sing it in many of his live shows.
McLean explained that love is what’s helped him through the hard times in his life, adding: ‘You have to be in love with something. When I have had bad times in my life, I always loved my guitar. And now, I have Paris.’

She gained notoriety for a 2017 episode of Catfish, about a 2011 incident, in which she began a relationship and exchanged nude photos with 33-year-old basketball player Chris ‘Birdman’ Andersen, when she was 17.
It turned out they weren’t speaking to each other, but a Canadian woman named Shelly Chartier, who was trying to get money from Andersen.
McLean was married to ex-wife Patrisha Shnier, 62, from 1987 to 2016, and they share son Wyatt and daughter Jackie.
