Parting ways: Ewan McGregor has axed his ex wife from his business which was set up to manage his millions, details just published reveal

Details published last week show that the decision was made in August last year just as their divorce deal was revealed.

The partnership Ladies of Oz LLP was shared by the couple to manage finances and some of Ewan’s multi-million movie earnings.

It was set up in 2003, with both taking an equal share in running and owning the enterprise which had £90,000 owing to the pair in it last accounts for 2019.

MailOnline have contacted representatives for comment.

Divorced: The 50-year-old actor’s ex Eve Mavrakis (pictured) was removed as a person of significant control and as a member of one of his key companies

In the divorce deal ending their 22-year marriage they agreed a settlement where Ewan, would hand over half his fortune from his roles in Star Wars prequels and other projects they worked on in their marriage.

That included splitting their assets with Eve, 54, getting to keep their £6 million Los Angeles home and a vast jewellery collection.

The movie star reportedly gets to keep 30 of their vehicles, while Eve got five and an agreement that he would pay around £40,000 a month for spousal support and child support.

Family: It comes after he agreed to pay her half of his Star Wars earnings following their divorce last year (Eve pictured with three of their daughters; Esther, 19, Jamyan, 19, and Anouk, 10)

Since the split, Ewan has moved on with new girlfriend Mary Elizabeth Winstead, 35 after the pair met on the set of their TV show Fargo.

The pair will share joint legal and physical custody of their youngest daughter, Anouk, 10.

Ewan filed for divorce in 2018, with documents lodged at the LA Superior Court that year revealing that he and Eve were already locked into a dispute over money.

The papers showed the Trainspotting star believed he was paying more than he was obliged to to support his family, while Eve – who described the split as ‘disappointing and upsetting’ – believed the amount was too little.

However, as their divorce was finalised, the couple put their differences aside to throw a party for daughters Esther and Jamyan, both 19, – the child they adopted from Mongolia – to celebrate them heading to university.

The pictures, which were posted on Instagram by their elder sister Clara, 24, were accompanied by the message: ‘My little beans are off to college, I’m so proud of you both. Notre petite family.’

The couple, who met on the set of the TV crime drama Kavanagh QC, first confirmed their split in 2017 amid claims Ewan had been seen kissing Mary, 35, in a London restaurant.

Eve was pictured without her wedding ring at around the same time.

Ewan – who blamed ‘irreconcilable differences’ for the split – then began dating Mary. However, his decision to do so left the couple’s eldest daughter Clara furious.

She described the actress as ‘a piece of trash’ on Instagram, which accompanied a photograph of her father and Miss Winstead kissing at the Vanity Fair Oscars party in 2014.

Clara, a budding actress, said afterwards: ‘It wasn’t the most mature way to go about things, but I was angry and upset.’

According to Clara, there were things going on behind-the-scenes that became ‘a lot to deal with’ and eventually sent her over the edge.

‘There had been a lot building up to it and a lot to deal with – not to make excuses or anything – but, yeah, it wasn’t my finest moment,’ she admitted.
