EXCLUSIVE Love Island's Ekin-Su is dropped from Beauty Works

EXCLUSIVE Love Island’s Ekin-Su Culculoglu parts ways from Beauty Works – marking the end of her second brand deal in two months as she ‘sues Oh Polly over £1m contract row’

A bidding war took place for Ekin-Su Culculoglu, who won the Love Island vote by a landslide last summer, with multiple brands keen to monetise on her villa stint.

However, the reality star, 28, has now ended her collaboration with Beauty Works, marking her second brand deal in two months to come to a sudden end after she previously parted ways with clothing brand Oh Polly.

The TV personality is no longer working with the online giant Beauty Works and hasn’t shared an affiliated Instagram post with the brand this year.

The brand told MailOnline: ‘We worked with Ekin-Su in late 2022 on our Party Edit but will not be releasing any future edits. We wish her all the best for the future.’

It’s over! The reality star is no longer working with the online giant and hasn’t shared an affiliated Instagram post with the brand this year

Ekin-Su was announced as the brand’s latest ambassador in October and signed a ‘year-long partnership’ which saw her launch limited edition styling tools and hair enhancing gift sets.

To celebrate her signing she enjoyed a lavish launch party for her The Party Edit range with Beauty Works at Hotel Cafe Royal in October.

A spokesperson for Ekin-Su told MailOnline: ‘Ekin really enjoyed working with Beauty Works and the 2022 Ekin-Su Party Edit was such an exciting venture for the entire team.

‘Both parties are moving to other projects within the hair and beauty space in 2023 but will absolutely stay in touch.’

Beauty Works which also famously works with the likes of Love Island’s Molly-Mae Hague, Maura Higgins, Zara McDermott and Millie Court has also since removed Ekin-Su from their celebrity side bar.

Ekin has in turn removed Beauty Works from her Instagram bio which now reads: ‘Love Island Winner S8. Ambassador for @bperfectcosmetics @ohpolly’.

After amassing over 3.2million Instagram followers, Ekin-Su also signed partnerships with beauty brand B Perfect Cosmetics and clothing brand Oh Polly after the villa, as well as becoming the Islander from the 2022 series to star in Dancing On Ice.

At the time, Ekin-Su announced her Beauty Works deal with a glamorous behind the scenes video as she described it as a ‘pinch me moment’.

She wrote: ‘The secret’s OUT. Beauty Works x Ekin-Su is coming soon!! So excited to announce I’m the newest beauty works ambassador, I can’t wait to bring you all on this journey with me and my favourite hair brand.

‘This is a pinch me moment and I wouldn’t have been able to do it without all of you. Your support never goes unnoticed. I can’t wait for you all to see what we have in store’.

Her latest work news comes shortly after it was revealed Ekin-Su is taking legal action against clothing brand Oh Polly after she was dropped less than six months after signing the ‘biggest clothing deal in Love Island history’.

The reality star signed a £1million contract following the ITV show and launched just one 16-piece collection which is now being sold off by the brand at reduced prices.

An insider told The Sun: ‘Both the brand and Ekin have been left disappointed and there is now a dispute over money owed on the lucrative contract.’

MailOnline contacted Ekin-Su’s spokesperson for comment.

A source told MailOnline at the time that the partnership, which saw Ekin-Su launch her first ever collection last October followed by a massive launch party, ‘wasn’t working’ and the Dancing On Ice star’s range struggled to appeal to Oh Polly’s customer base.

‘Ekin-Su and Oh Polly have parted ways,’ an insider revealed.

Her former co-stars and runners-up of the series of Love Island Gemma Owen and Indiyah Polak were signed by PrettyLittleThing while Tasha Ghouri became the brand ambassador for Love Island sponsor eBay.

Ekin-Su meanwhile has other projects lined up with a trip to Los Angeles planned where she has a series of meetings for acting roles.

The star will also travel to her native Turkey with the Red Cross to volunteer in areas devastated by the recent earthquake in the country.
