George Clooney, 59, sheds light on lockdown with Amal, 42, and the twins in their $10M mansion: ‘It’s been a lot of washing dishes and changing diapers’
George Clooney has been on lockdown with his wife of six years, 42-year-old lawyer Amal Clooney, and their three-year-old twins, Alexander and Ella.
And this week the Ocean’s 11 star – who will turn 60-years-old in May – told the Los Angeles Times what it has been like.
‘It’s been nine months mostly inside the house,’ said Clooney. ‘I have three-year-old twins, so that’s been an adventure in a lot of washing dishes and changing diapers. My own, mostly.’

And he is aware how lucky he is to live in a mansion; he has a $10M home in England as well as a property in Los Angeles’ Studio City neighborhood and a villa in Lake Como, Italy.
‘I wound up living in a home with some space in it. We can walk around outside,’ said the pal of Brad Pitt.
But he is happy to be able to stay indoors unlike first responders.
‘We have a great deal of gratitude for the fact that we were able to be in our homes and have some security, because there are an awful lot of people around the world that don’t,’ said the ER veteran.

Meanwhile, George previously insisted he is convinced we will ‘come out better’ after a difficult year.
The Monuments Men star said: ‘This has been a crappy year for everyone. Started badly and ran badly all year long, until recently … But I’m very lucky. I ended up having a successful career.’
His sci-fi disaster film Midnight Sky has been a blockbuster on Netflix.

But he has hope.
‘You worry about your immediate family, and at the same time you worry about all of the Earth … I’t’s been a crappy year. It has. But we’re gonna get through it. I believe that with my whole heart,’ said Clooney.
‘If I didn’t believe that I don’t know how we’d raise kids in this world. We’re gonna get through these things and my hope and my belief is that we will come out better.’
The Oscar winner also said he is missing his father, 87-year-old journalist, anchorman, and television host Nick Clooney, he told the Los Angeles Times.
‘My father’s 87 years old and lives in Kentucky. So I miss being with my family,’ said the Casamigos founder.
