Gogglebox’s Joe Baggs rubs shoulders with Hollywood royalty at BAFTAs

Joe Baggs rubbed shoulders with Hollywood royalty at the 2023 EE BAFTA Film Awards red carpet on Sunday 19 February.

The former Gogglebox turned TikTok star, 25, made a bold style statement in a black trouser suit adorned with several pearl necklaces.

Joe teamed the look with a white grandad collar shirt and smart black and white loafers as he posed up a storm on the star-studded red carpet.

The social media sensation styled his blonde locks into a smart gelled hairdo as he beamed while rubbing shoulders with Hollywood royalty at the elusive annual event.

Joe also took to Instagram to share a collection of updates from the event while BAFTA's official Instagram also tagged him in a post, writing: "These guys have your inside scoop!"

It comes as Alison Hammond and Richard E Grant are set to host the 2023 EE BAFTA Film Awards on Sunday 19 February.

Celebrated actor Richard, 65, will host the ceremony on the night while This Morning royalty Alison, 48, will present the brand new BAFTA Studio.

And while past hosts have used the platform to grill the nominees, Richard will be opting for a more celebratory approach.

"If they’re asking me, they must know that I am going to fanboy no matter what!", Richard jokes. As Alison adds, "He’s the perfect host because he’s going to know everyone!"

While Alison teased of her presenting duties: "When you watch these award ceremonies, normally, you never get to see what happens behind-the-scenes.

"So hopefully, this is a window into the backstage – what goes on, what they like to drink after they’ve just won the ceremony, how they are feeling, I might see a few tears!

"That’s the moment when you see the tears, afterwards, that’s when the relief comes and everyone sheds the tears.

"I’ll be literally there, giving them a hug, making sure they’re having a lovely time and gently easing them into the fact their life is going to completely change once you win a BAFTA!"

EE BAFTA Film Awards will be broadcast on Sunday 19 February at 7:00pm on BBC One and iPlayer.
