Has clean-cut Kate Moss finally stubbed out the cigarettes? The supermodel is spotted with a trendy disposable vape on an afternoon stroll in London

She was once hailed the ‘greatest smoker of all time’, but Kate Moss seems to have traded her famous cigarettes for a vape.

After 34 years of chain-smoking, Ms Moss has decided to clean up her act with the trendy disposable device.

Her 20-year-old daughter, Lila, was spotted looking bemused as her mother handed her the vape she was puffing away on during an afternoon stroll in London last week.

The supermodel, 49, showed off her £4.99 Bloody Mary e-cigarette, which can be bought in supermarkets and is cherry, peach and lemonade-flavoured.

It is the first time Ms Moss has been seen in public since she split from her boyfriend more than ten years her junior, the photographer Count Nikolai von Bismarck, 36.

She and her daughter both wore light summer shirts – Lila with a white strappy top and jeans, and Kate with blue chinos.

Her daughter accessorised with a black £2,585 Prada handbag.

Following decades as the fashion world’s wild child, enjoying raucous parties fuelled by drugs and booze, Ms Moss has reportedly been sober for two years.

She was nicknamed ‘The Tank’ by friends for her love of substances – but has turned over a new leaf, eliminating caffeine and, now, tobacco.

Ms Moss’s sobriety has coincided with the launch of her wellness brand, Cosmoss, where a 30ml bottle of anti-ageing face oil costs £105.

She told ES magazine last year: ‘When I started to take care of myself things began to change. I think I’m the happiest I’ve ever been.’
