‘I was a nightmare’: Jennifer Garner, 51, says she was ‘such a first time mom’ with eldest child she shares with Ben Affleck as she flashes her bra in sheer top

Jennifer Garner has talked about being a parent in Allure Magazine’s May Issue.

The 51-year-old Alias actress has three kids with ex-husband Ben Affleck: Violet Anne, 17, Seraphina Rose, 13, and Samuel, 10. He is now wed to Jennifer Lopez who has twins Max and Emme, 15.

The movie star – who showed off her bra on the cover – said she was a very hands-on mother when her first daughter Violet was born.

‘I was such a first-time mom,’ began the 13 Going On 30 star. ‘My eldest daughter didn’t have a shot. She couldn’t have a free thought – I was all over her. 

Garner then added, ‘I was a nightmare for everyone around me.’

The beauty also said it is hard for her kids to grow up in the spotlight.

‘It’s gnarly growing up. We didn’t have the eyes on us that our kids have,’ said Garner.

 And she discussed her kids growing up.

‘Your kids will really figure out who they are and what they are when they’re older, and most likely they will hew toward lovely.’

But she feels they will be OK. 

‘I have a lot of faith in my kids.’

But then again, they are just like normal kids.

‘I don’t love every behavior all the time, always,’ she noted.

Jennifer also candidly revealed she struggles to maintain boundaries because she is always perceived as ‘nice.’

She confessed that she cannot maintain a falsely positive appearance on days when she has ‘blackness in her soul.’

Jennifer said: ‘The problem with, ”Oh, she’s so nice” is that when I have any kind of boundary, people think of it as much more than it actually is.

‘The problem is being recognized on a day where I’m not so nice or when I have blackness in my soul. 

‘I’ve definitely had days where I just can’t do it. I scowl at people before they can walk up to me. I’m not perfect, and I don’t think I’m rude, but I’m not good at being fake. I’m an open book of a person.’

Jennifer talked the publication to promote her Apple TV+ thriller The Last Thing He Told Me.
