Jennifer Lopez goes on a holiday shopping spree in Beverly Hills while Ben Affleck browses stores with both sets of kids and his mom nearby

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck seemed to have two very different holiday shopping experiences on Saturday afternoon.

While the 52-year-old Hustlers star was seen leisurely browsing for items at several stores in Beverly Hills, her 49-year-old boyfriend was shopping nearby with both sets of their kids and his mother Christopher Anne.

The not-so-joint outing comes just days after Affleck found himself in hot water for comments about his ex/mother of his three kids, Jennifer Garner — which Lopez was reportedly not thrilled about.

Her rep however told DailyMail.com on Saturday that the claims about her being ‘pissed’ are ‘false.’

Lopez was pictured looking her usual stylish self as she began her shopping extravaganza at Tiffany & Co before stopping by Saks Fifth Avenue. 

She wore a sweeping black winter coat and flared trousers with a crop top which showed off her famously toned stomach. 

Her caramel locks were slipped back into a high bun and she kept her face shielded with a yellow face mask and a pair of brown tinted sunglasses. 

Inside the department store she started with athleisure as she compared a few different sets of sweatpants and hoodies, before looking at a few different glitzy sweaters.

From there she moved over to the purse department where she seemed to spot a Chloe bag that was to her liking. 

While Jennifer seemed to carefully weigh a bunch of options when it came to shopping for her friends and family, Ben was a good sport as he spent the day entertaining their kids. 

The Good Will Hunting actor was pictured getting out of his usual white SUV in a flannel shirt and jeans with casual sneakers in West Hollywood.  

Behind him were JLo’s kids Max and Emme, 13, as well as his daughters Violet, 15, Seraphina, 12, and mom Christopher.

His gals: Additionally eldest daughter Violet, 15, was seen alongside her grandma Christopher during the outing

The motley crew were seen out in West Hollywood as they popped into several different stores including Jonathan Adler. 

Affleck’s eldest daughter Violet appeared to see some things to her liking as she walked around the store with her dad and grandma by her side. 

Jennifer’s daughter Emme, 13, and Ben’s daughter Seraphina, 12, looked to be the best of buds as they strolled side by side and held hands while chatting during the outing. 

And the shopping trip seemed to be a big success as Affleck was pictured exiting the store alongside his girlfriend’s son Max  with a few shopping bags in hand.

One-on-one time: In a recent GMA interview Affleck had maintained that he was ‘better and happier’ around his kids

Successful: Afterwards the duo walked out with some bags from the store, with Affleck making sure to pay some some personal attention to Max

The holiday prep comes after it was reported that the on-again couple are still ‘planning on spending Christmas together and are wanting to make it as special as possible for the kids,’ per ET. 

‘They want all the kids to be together for the holiday if possible and do something just the two of them as well,’ an insider said, adding that Ben is ‘planning something special as a Christmas gift for Jennifer.’    

On Tuesday December 14, Affleck caused a stir during an interview on The Howard Stern Show where he discussed his divorce and sobriety — and seemed to pin his substance abuse on Garner. 

He said his ‘drinking’ issues were due to feeling ‘trapped’ in his marriage with the 13 Going On 30 star and said that if they would have stayed married they likely ‘would’ve ended up … probably at each other’s throats.’  

Something caught your eye? From there the Hustlers star moved over to the purse department where she seemed to spot a Chloe bag

Choosy: Though it was unclear if Lopez was shopping for the whole blended family she certainly made a day out of it

‘I’d probably still be drinking. It’s part of why I started drinking … because I was trapped,’ he continued to tell Stern.   

After incurring backlash for seeming to blame his issues on his ex, he clarified the statements during a Jimmy Kimmel appearance on Wednesday.

He  had maintained that the words got twisted and taken out of context, and said ‘I would never want my kids to think I would ever say a bad word about their mom.’ 

Following his initial statements, a Page Six insider said: ‘[Lopez] is pissed. She is getting pulled into this because she is dating him. She doesn’t want to be dragged into this.’ 

Me time: The multi hyphenate was said to have been ‘pissed’ about Ben’s statements regarding Garner 

Stylish strut: Lopez was followed by her sister Lynda into Saks Fifth Avenue presumably to help shop for their other sister and mother 

VIP: The Waiting For Tonight singer seemed to be led in by customer service personnel while accompanied by security and her shopping party 

However, Lopez and her camp shut down the rumors on Saturday, as the superstar told PEOPLE: ‘This story is simply not true. It is not how I feel. 

Additionally she sang the actor’s praises as an all around human: ‘I couldn’t have more respect for Ben as a father, a co-parent, and a person,’ she said.   

And her camp continued to tell DailyMail.com that things between the Jennifers could not be better at this time. 

‘Jennifer and Jennifer are friends, to make anything other than that is false…the story that she is upset at Ben is not true. They are all doing well at co-parenting.’

Days after his statements, Ben continued to speak about ‘second chances’ post-sobriety, and the importance of being a good father in his kids’ eyes. 

‘I feel like at the end of the day everybody needs second chances,’ Affleck told Good Morning America. ‘I don’t know anybody who does everything right. We all fail. That’s the truth.’ 

The Gone Girl actor continued to say: ‘My life is better and I am happier the more I am around my kids,’ adding that the ‘only biography that needs anything is written on the hearts of your kids.’

‘I will be long dead and someone will ask my kids, ‘What was your dad like?’ and that is when I will know what my life was worth.’
